I made this file to hand out at Balticon. It is made with the permission of Michael R. Mannenga, and Farpoint Media. This is going to be added to the slice of sci-fi feed soon. Because you listen to 12v get it early. Those of you who didn’t know what the Joust/Frogger all about here is a refresher course.

I’ve become aware that there’s problems with my iTunes feed. I’m doing everything I can to fix the problem. I upload all the story files on to Libsyn and the Bonus shows go on Podango. Okay, the show seems stable so I’m leaving it up. My listener count doesn’t move. I can tell by the people who are commenting that more than 14 have downloaded it. I’ve moved over to Podandgo for the time. This won’t be a problem if you stay subscribed to the feed on the main site. I don’t know what server I’m going to use but it will always be linked in to the main site. If it isn’t there will be a post on this site telling you why.

I’ve known about this review for a while but I wanted to make sure there were some other things of his I can promote. It looks like Justin a.k.a. Sam number two. might be starting a pod cast. The biggest decision gate yet. Unfortunately it’s the same question I’ve asked before. I’m not truly happy about it but I have to go with a story leads me. Next episode there’s an even bigger twist. I’m happy to announce the Road Guides are now up to around six. Thank you all for listening. If you’re a member of the Bears Grove and joining into this pod cast please feel free to drop a line. Also make sure to check out his story Heart of the Hunter as well as the Bears Grove pod cast. So you know we are rerecording part one and two. You may notice their counter reset. There is no new content in that episode but the audio has been improved significantly. If you want to get those in your Itunes feed do these steps.

1. Delete the old episode.

2. Unsubscribe to my pod cast.

3. Resubscribe then download the episode.

I am doing this so that people coming into the pod cast will not have to suffer through my learning curve. I’m starting to get some Itunes reviews. Down the road - Part 5: Severance

This is the first section of part five Severance. I wanted to complete the entire Carnival story and move Down the Road. When I completed it it was nearly 7000 words. That’s too large to pod cast so I broken into two sections. The second section will be released next week. There is no, “decision gate”, in this episode. There will be a “decision gate” at the end of the conclusion of Severance. The good news is there’s more content for all. Please check out the podcaster’s I’m promoting this episode.

Down the road - Part 4: Cold Knife text file

Here’s the PDF of part four cold knife. I’m very happy to announce we have a total of three “ROAD GUIDES”. The official name for contributors to 12 volt theater will be Road guides. The rest of you who listen in will simply be Travelers. You could thank Lowell of Columbus for the idea.Thanks to all your interest I have convince my wife to let me spend a few hundred dollars on some new equipment. Now the story portion of the pod cast will no longer be recorded off of a $40 USB headset mic. Plus I have a CD of sound effects and other background music. I have no idea if any of this will be good or not. I’m also working on acquiring a version of Audition. I have downloaded the trial version and I’m going to play around with that to see if it’s worth while. I feel sorry for those people who jumped in early only to chicken out too quickly. All of them are missing the fun. Believe me I’m having a blast sharing the story with all of you and getting your input. It is a far more pleasant experience than I thought it would be.

I’m going to be focusing more on the delivery of the pod cast from now on. If you listen to the difference between episode one and episode four you’ll see that there’s been some pretty big improvements. I hope to keep getting better at this. I know I won’t be as good as the folks at Second Shift or Space Casey. I simply don’t have the resources or personnel. When I say resources I’m talking about time and the fact that I live in a truck. I will say that my pod cast is better than some others that don’t have nearly the same limitations.

Don’t forget to check out Jack Mangan’s Deadpan to hear some of my rants and nonfiction stories. I’m also experimenting with production techniques. I’m sending those over to Dubshack at The Farpoint Recap.

Well folks, it’s been a very busy week. I’ve had some extreme highs and lows on my appearances on other shows. It’s made this show rather late.
