No doubt the better choice for our protagonist would be to redeem him, but I fear there is too much murder in her heart for that. She's heard his story, she knows the consequences, even if her guide told her to save him, she would ignore him. Also, the Rider's a fuckin' awesome character, incestuous rape notwithstanding. Of course, I think what I'd really like to see is for Alice to have a change of heart, and then see Toby or Bob take out the Rider, but I'm not the one steering the story, so I guess I'll have to wait and see how things play out.
